Sending your child to school:
Tell the school about:

• How much school they may miss
• Whether they can go to recess
• How much gym they can do
• How much recess is allowed
• Any behavior changes due to treatment
• Effects of treatment on learning
• What your child will look like
• How your child feels about returning to school

Medications in school:

• Send a list of the medicines your child can not get
• Your child's doctor should work closely with the school
• Talk to the school principal, teacher, and nurse-ask questions
